What is the Republic of Baby Aliens ?
The Republic of Baby Aliens (RBA) is a group of baby aliens within the Baby Alien Division that while on earth became familiar with the politics and democracy carried out by certain nations on Earth. This group of baby aliens realized that they themselves could form a division, like the Founders. In becoming enlightened they figured out that they could form a "named group", of their own based on certain principles. Thus, the Republic of Baby Aliens was born! With the help of bright and good hearted community members they received funds from the B.A.D to grow and to be prosperous.
This is B.A.D's version of a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO). It a group formed "By the Community, For the Community".
How is the RBA Structured?
Quick Summary :
The RBA is watched over by (3) positions. One position being the "Appointed One" and two community elected positions called the "Elected Ones". Each of the positions possess (1) vote to action. The Founders in this model act as the advisory board for the DAO and safeguard for the DAO funds ; they do not possess the ability to veto or prevent the DAO from using the funds. However, the Founders do have the ability to appoint 1 of the 3 positions and require plans to be seen by The Founders prior to the use of funds.
What is the Role of the Appointed One ?
The "Appointed One" serves as a main bridge of communication between the RBA and The Founders. In addition, among having the same duties as the other positions they serve to keep the agenda of the RBA moving along. This is important to The Founders as we would like the RBA to be productive and engage in endeavors that will engage the community at the same time grow the fund so to be able to carry out big ideas ; like that of The Founders running the Main Project.
In other words.. the project is initially a miniature-project within and not limited to the confines of Baby Alien Division.
What are the general duties of the Elected and Appointed Ones ?
To steward the funds of the DAO towards productive and expansive projects that grow the DAO funds initially so to lay the foundation for further development.
What are some example(s) of endeavors that can be undertaken by the RBA?
Purchasing/Selling NFTs.
Staking Funds for Passive Returns (e.g. Defi).
Creation of NFTs.
Creation of Lore/Art/Comic/Video.
Creation of Community Events.
